Science
Court Explorations - Join other homeschoolers for Saturday morning
cartoons with Science Court! Roughly 3rd to 7th grade level.
“Science Court mixes animated courtroom drama, hands-on science activities,
and humor to teach students fundamental science concepts and model good
scientific practice. As each case unfolds, students examine the facts
and perform hands-on experiments to help them predict the verdict.”
If interested call Terri Craft at 347-9172. Sponsors have purchased
the videos and experiment charts. Total cost for each student is
$28 — this covers supplies in the hands-on kits, which will be kept by
each participant. Keep in mind that covers seven Saturdays, 7 studies
— average is $4 a lesson!

Club
Can-Do: Kids Called to Care - The Worland Methodist Church will be
hosting "Club Can-Do", a VBS adventure where kids will see how children
(just like themselves!) from the Old and New Testaments fulfilled God's
plan in bible times. Just as God worked through those children, God
will work through today's Can-Do Kids to make a difference in the world
around them. Join the club for Can-Do stories, Can-Do songs, Can-Do
games, Can-Do crafts and Can-Do fun! Club meetings will be held at
the R.E.R. on May 30, 2000 through June 2, 2000 from 9:00 AM to
12:00 PM.
We
will not be taking registration at the door - so please enroll your children
now (before May 15th). Come join the Club Can-Do! For information
and registration call the church office at 347-3411 or Connie at 347-2182. |
